No repair, modification, or alteration should be done unless and until PESO has approved the method of execution.
The manufacturer and the purchaser need to agree to the design modification on paper, even before such changes are made.
To get a re-usability certificate, the modified pressure vessel should undergo and pass non-destructive testing.
The pressure vessels which have corrosion marks are not eligible for modification.
New couplings and safety fittings must be installed on the modified pressure vessel to minimize wear and tear.
Once the changes are approved and sanctioned by PESO, the vessel will be given a new vessel number for easy identification.
